Project's General Objectives:

In general, the physical disabled people have less training opportunities than the other healthy people which causes very big problems for disabled people to get job and keep it. Therefore, disabled people have less training capacities and skills than the healthy population. The VET systems lacks of training specific for this target group - disabled people. Generally, the e-training offer based on ICTs is available for the healthy people, able to work and to move to their working places.

The concrete aim of this project is “to e-train people with physical disabilities for home based employment by means of e-learning and introduce them to virtual working environment and let them actually work”. Project will support participants of e-LIFE in further training activities for improving their skills and competencies of computer and technical oriented disabled people to train the individual to produce better and competitive outputs in project fields which cover almost 40% of technical based services. e-LIFE project will develop a module that will teach the people with physical disabilities how they can start and operate a virtual assistant business, how can become a virtual assistant and how to work virtually.

The materials will be based on e-learning, enhancing the development of innovative ICT-based content for lifelong learning of disabled people. With this methodology will be ensured that the products can be reached by the target group because e-learning permits more accessibility, and flexibility.

The materials will be tested with end users in each participating country through pilot experiences.

Operational objectives:

The tool of the project is a learning platform for people with physical disabilities, and also an open platform for companies, trainers, and institutions of vocational training and education, as the project will develop a model, including tools and templates (e-LIFE Training Handbook) that can be used to qualify persons to assume the role of virtual worker (e-worker). Thus, companies will surely benefit from the model when recruiting people with disabilities and thereby creating a more inclusive labour market, and trainers and institutions of vocational training and education will benefit from the use of the e-training and e-employment model offered in

European priorities:

This project aims encouragement of cooperation between VET and the world of work. The project will develop an e-learning platform and a "VET Center" ( for people with disabilities. So, courses developed in this project will improve the skills and competencies  and exchange experience over the virtual training center. It also increase the opportunity by helping disabled persons to use ICT, which is an essential tool in current and future life. The e-training courses will increase the accessibility of persons with disabilities on labour market.
